A leading business expert has been named patron of the Stroud Businesswomen’s Network.
Dr. Alison Edgar MBE has become the first patron of the SBN, which announced the appointment at its monthly meeting on April 29th.
Dr. Edgar said “I am thrilled to be inaugural Patron of Stroud Businesswomen’s Network.
“I’m a firm believer in women supporting women and lifting them as they climb to new heights. I look forward to helping with this wherever I can.”
Sue Eskins, chair of SBN said: “We are all influenced by the success created by fellow businesswomen, and are delighted that Alison will be a patron.
“She’s advised government, coached winners from Dragons’ Den and The Apprentice, and worked with some of the world’s biggest brands.
“She made a great impact when she came to speak to us recently”.
The SBN holds monthly meetings to support and inspire businesswomen in the area, with visitors welcome to attend.
