Members Networking Meeting with speaker Sarah Holden of Ownzone Stroud

Sarah is the co-owner and manager of Ownzone in Stroud. Ownzone provides seven therapy rooms for professionals to use as and when they need to for individual, couples or small group sessions. Ownzone’s purpose is to provide a private, welcoming space for those therapists who do not want, or need, full time office space from which to meet their clients.

After nearly 30 years’ working for organisations both as an employee and consultant, Ownzone has become a means for Sarah to make a living whilst also creating something meaningful without the need to retrain.

The business has allowed Sarah flexible working as it is operated remotely, using an automated booking process and access control system.

Six years on and Ownzone is flourishing.

Sarah shares the journey, the lessons she learnt and challenges she faced as Ownzone went from being just an idea to a busy and successful business.

If you are a Friend of SBN or you know anyone who might enjoy being part of our Membership we welcome non-members to come along for a fee introductory meeting at one of our Main meetings to see how we work with a view to joining. Drop us an email beforehand to enquiries@stroudbusinesswomen.org.uk so that we can add you to our list. We always do a quick round the room introductions where you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business.
