10.00  What Every Small Business should know

Shelley Bonney of WSP Solicitors  and Caroline Aistrop of Green Spark Marketing will be speaking and taking questions on the issues every business needs to consider in 2018.

Shelley is a commercial solicitor who specialises in advice to small businesses. Shelley will concentrate on the do’s and don’ts for micro and small businesses, how to comply with red tape and what traps to avoid.

Caroline will speak about the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulations in May 2018 which will affect every business, from freelances and sole traders to multi-nationals. You may have seen references to GDPR – this is your chance to undersand how they offer great opportunities to develop more constructive relationships with your customers and clients. Although the whole thing can seem daunting and onerous, with a bit of planning it could result in your business building a targeted database of loyal customers who are genuinely interested in what you’re selling.

The venue is The Old Lodge, Minchinhampton GL6 9AQ. Parking is free.

Coffee will be available from 8.45 am, with doors open at 9.00 for registration; business to begin at 9.30 am.
